Why choose us.
Bowker Equestrian is a professional training and livery centre based in the North West. The centre benefits from a magnificent 40 x 20 meter indoor arena with mirrors and a sand/fibre surface. It also benefits from large, American barn-style stables which are set in 30 acres of stunning Yorkshire countryside. It is owned and run by Debbie Linscott who is a recognised British Dressage Coach and listed British Dressage Judge. Debbie has owned and trained horses for over 40 years and has an excellent track record in developing the rider by going back to the basics, then proceeding up through the levels to elementary and hopefully beyond!
Our Promise: That all Bowker residents thrive in a supporting and encouraging environment amongst like-minded peers. That all horses are kept according to the best possible practices so that they and their owners shall excel, flourish and prosper in whichever endeavours they choose to pursue.
Our Objectives: Here at Bowker equestrian, we strive to work as close to nature as is possible in order that all the wild residents here shall thrive too! As well as investing in the very best equestrian facilities, it is our aim to be as carbon negative as possible. We have plans over the next few winters to plant over 2,600 trees around the land and replace hundreds of hedging plants. Where possible, all the hay/haylage fed to our horses is grown on the land therefore keeping transport of feed to an absolute minimum. All environmentally-friendly bedding is purchased locally and all waste produced by the horses is put back on to the land, again eliminating the need for unnecessary transport.
